Role Overview
The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing tax returns, assisting with compliance and planning, and supporting client needs. This is an onsite, full-time position with direct exposure to a skilled accounting team.
Responsibilities
Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Support tax planning, research, and year-end processes
Maintain accurate documentation and filings
Collaborate with colleagues to address client inquiries and tax matters
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
1-3+ years of tax preparation experience
Experience with tax software (UltraTax, ProSeries, Lacerte, Drake, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach
Preferred
CPA or progress toward CPA
Experience with bookkeeping or general accounting
